Move That Body Lucia Aniello Scarlett Johansson Banner

The Wrap is reporting that Scarlett Johansson is in final talks to star in MOVE THAT BODY, a raunchy comedy from Broad City writer/director Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs, one of the stars of the Comedy Central series. Sony bought the script by the duo over the summer after a heated bidding war, and Aniello has been set to direct the planned film, while Downs is also attached to co-star. Aniello and Downs will also produce the movie through their Paulilu banner alongside Matt Tolmach and Dave Becky.

No word on the plot for MOVE THAT BODY (or when production might start), but the project has been described as “The Hangover meets Weekend at Bernie’s.”

Besides being very easy on the eyes, Johansson has also done a great job in comedic roles, and although I haven't seen it yet, I've heard fantastic things about Broad City, so this might be a film to keep an eye on as it further develops.

Scarlett Johansson can be seen next on the big screen in the Coen brothers' HAIL, CAESAR! on February 5, 2016, and she will also provide the voice of Kaa in Jon Favreau's THE JUNGLE BOOK, which is due out on April 15, 2016.
