Zombies movies are fun, but set a zombie movie in Jamaica starring a cast of pot smoking Jamaicans, and you have yourself a great time! And if all goes as planned for BLACK DYNAMITE director Scott Sanders, that’s exactly what the world is gonna get: a Jamaican zombie movie!
Sanders recent sat down with the folks over at MovieWeb to discuss the DVD release of BLACK DYNAMITE, and during the interview, he dropped the bomb on the next project the’s working on, one that will hopefully re-team him with star Michael Jai White once again. Here’s Sanders explaining this new flick, in his own words…
I am currently playing around with the idea of a Jamaican zombie movie. Weed plays a big factor.
A Jamaican zombie movie in which weed, the most potent weed on the planet apparently, may be the cause (or the cure) to a zombie epidemic? Where can I sign up? In a word, this sounds awesome! Not only because the concept is great, but because I really dug BLACK DYNAMITE, and I think Sanders could make this flick really fun.
