Scream Awards unveiled

As if you needed extra incentive to get with the premiere television gala honoring the best in horror, sci-fi and fantasy, it seems some nifty new unveilings are fixing to go down at this year’s 4th annual Scream Awards.

In attendance at the ceremony (which occurs October 17th and airs October 27th), will be the full cast of tweener-sensation TWILIGHT, as they present world premiere footage of the highly anticipated NEW MOON.

Also attending the celebration is the reunited cast of “Battle Star Galactica”, set to bid a final farewell. Edward James Olmos, Tricia Helfer, Grace Park, James Callis, Kate Vernon, Katee Sackhoff, Michael Trucco Tahmoh Penikett and executive producer David Eick will all likely take the stage together for the last time.

“True Blood” cast and creators Alan Ball, Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin, Alexander Skarsgård, Sam Trammell and more will also be on hand.

Not sure about you, but NEW MOON and the whole emo-vampire craze isn’t really my bag, but I wouldn’t mind catching a close-up of Anna Paquin’s backside. No what I mean?!?

The 2009 Scream Awards airs October 27, at 10:00PM ET.
