So, this is kind of an oddity. It’s a highlight reel of 2013 films, which features a lot of quick cut images from a slew of films that are set to debut this summer…in the UK. Most of the footage is familiar stuff from trailers that we’ve already seen, but the most noteworthy of shots are from Edgar Wright‘s THE WORLD’S END. Thus far, we’ve only seen still images from the pic (and these are just barely moving), so it’s kind of cool to see a little movement, even if it’s just Simon Pegg walking into a bar with his mates.
There’s a number of other clips in here, but THE WORLD’S END is the clear stand out. At this point a lot of the big films, like MAN OF STEEL, IRON MAN 3, MONSTERS UNIVERSITY, STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, PACIFIC RIM, FAST & FURIOUS 6, etc., have debuted enough footage to confuse anyone as to what’s new or old, but the reel is still a fun little jaunt to get you stoked for the summer movie season.
