Marking our fourth story in the last 8 days for Marcus Nispel’s CONAN THE BARBARIAN is perhaps the best…we now have our first look at the teaser trailer for the flick!

Now, there isn’t a ton of footage given here, just a bunch of ghastly images appearing in swirls of smoke. Among them is the badass Barbarian (Jason Momoa) wielding his trusty blade, spooky looking minions he has to face off with, and thankfully Rachel Nichols’ gorgeous face. We also hear snippets of dialogue over the CG display, the best of which being the opening screed if this here article. Some strong words to live by, no doubt!

Also starring Ron Perlman, Rose McGowan, Stephen Lang, Bob Sapp, Leo Howard and Said Taghmaoui – CONAN is out To avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his Cimmerian village, going on a quest to find and kill the sadistic warlord responsible. However, this warlord, Khalar Zym (Stephen Lang), is on his own quest to find an elusive young woman, Tamara (Rachel Nichols), the key to an enigmatic ritual of resurrection. When Conan abducts Tamara and uses her as bait, he is pursued by armies, besieged by monsters and led to a site of primeval magic and human sacrifice.

CONAN THE BARBARIAN drops the blade August 19th.
