We saw the premier of the TED 2 poster a few days back, promising exactly what audiences are expecting with this sequel. Namely, really vulgar words and acts performed by a teddy bear. TED 2 focuses on newlywed couple Ted and Tami-Lynn and their quest to have a baby, but in order to qualify to be a parent, Ted will have to prove he's a person in a court of law. Let the . . . court drama ensue?

While the first film's focus was the R-rated hijinx between a man and his bear, I actually think the story about a bond between two friends really held it all together. Judging from this trailer, the civil rights angle doesn't quite work for me. Why? I dunno, maybe because Ted is f*cking teddy bear. I'm holding out for a red-band trailer, but it feels like they're trying too hard with this one.

TED 2 hits theaters on June 26, 2015.
