Oh my lord, this is bad. Whether it’s “good” bad is up to you, but it’s bad all the same. The first clip from SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE has surfaced and it features the dreadful acting of Ian Ziering and Mark McGrath (whose character is actually named Martin Brody, just FYI) and a subway-surfing shark. So I guess it’s pretty much exactly what we’d expect from the sequel.

Also starring Tara Reid, Vivica A. Fox, Tiffany Shepis, Judah Friedlander and a slew of celebrity cameos, SHARKNADO 2 goes like this:

A freak weather system turns its deadly fury on New York City, unleashing a Sharknado on the population and its most cherished, iconic sites – and only Fin and April can save the Big Apple.

The Asylum-produced flick premiers on Syfy July 30th.
