Mayor of Kingstown is set to premiere this Sunday and we are lucky enough to debut a clip from the Paramount+ series that features Dianne Wiest in a very tense moment.

The clip, titled “Pine Ridge”, sees Dianne Wiest’s Miriam McLusky in a pretty tense exchange with a character that seems to want Miriam to ask the mayor a favor for her cousin. Let’s just say that the request is not taken well and the clip surely shows that Miriam is no one to mess with. You can check out the clip at the top of this story.

Mayor of Kingstown is a crime thriller television series created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon and it follows the powerful McLusky family. They are power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption, and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither. The series also stars Jeremy Renner, Kyle Chandler, Emma Laird, Taylor Handley, and Hugh Dillon.

Did YOU like the clip? Mayor of Kingstown makes its premiere on Paramount+ this Sunday, November 14, 2021, and will run for 10 episodes.
