Sharks in Venice trailer!

It’s been far too long since I’ve written about SHARKS IN VENICE – over a year to be exact. I had begun to think, but some cruel twist in God’s diabolical plan for me, that I’d never actually get to see the would-be epic… But those negative thoughts have been put to rest, now that I’ve seen the trailer and the DVD artwork for the flick.

You’d think that a movie called SHARKS IN VENICE wouldn’t need anything other than its fantastic titular premise to lure an audience in, but it turns out the movie has oh-so-much-more to offer. It’s also got Stephen Baldwin, who looks like he’s starring in a movie with a completely shark-less plot, something about international treasure hunters which features lots of gun battles and booby traps. Combine these elements and you have a movie that appears to be absolutely brilliant… Oh and Vanessa Johannsson co-stars, and yes, she’s Scarlett’s sister. This is a cast that just won’t quit! (Giacomo Gonnella and Hilda van der Meulen, anyone?!)

SHARK(S) IN VENICE will be hitting DVD on January 27th according to Amazon, but I’ve got a funny feeling it will be airing on Sci Fi Channel before then… Check out the trailer below and tell me it ain’t a thing of beauty!!
