Shout Factory original Fender Bender revs up production with full cast

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

The first original Shout! Factory production FENDER BENDER, a horror-thriller from the underappreciated mind of THE NIGHT FLIER's Mark Pavia, has commenced production in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pavia writes and directs, joined by a newly announced cast of 5.

Makenzie Vega (The Good Wife), Dre Davis (above), Cassidy Freeman (Smallville), Steven Michael Quezada (Breaking Bad), and Bill Sage (PRECIOUS) had better have their licenses and registrations handy, because this is going to be a bumpy ride. Though this is definitely a unique project, this cast has an array of genre experience that will help them prepare.

Vega played the imperiled daughter of Dr. Gordon in SAW, Freeman had her way with the thriller DON'T LOOK BACK, and Sage played Patrick Bateman's friend David Van Patten in AMERICAN PSYCHO. Plus, Dre Davis was in Pretty Little Liars, which is a pretty terrifying prospect.

FENDER BENDER is described as a throwback to the horror films of the 1980s — a time when homicidal maniacs like Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees routinely terrorized hapless teens.

FENDER BENDER is looking to crash onto Chiller in 2016.
