Silo Season 3
The plot thickens in the third season of Apple TV’s hit series Silo. The streamer has just unveiled the trailer for the upcoming season and Rebecca Ferguson‘s character is going through the wringer. The ten-episode season will premiere on Apple TV with the first episode on July 3, followed by one new episode every Friday through September 4, 2026.
Ferguson is joined by an ensemble cast that includes Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Rick Gomez, Billy Postlethwaite and Clare Perkins. Season three will also have some notable newcomers, which include Jessica Henwick, Ashley Zukerman (both of whom appeared in the season two finale), along with Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Reed Birney and Matt Craven, with Colin Hanks set to recur. Steve Zahn is also set to return.
Silo follows the last 10,000 people on Earth as they navigate life in their mile-deep underground home protecting them from the toxic outside world. The catch? No one knows when or why the silo was built and anyone who goes snooping for answers faces fatal consequences.
Season 4
The series is based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy and Apple TV has already renewed the show through season four, which will be its final season. Executive Producer and Showrunner, Graham Yost, said in a statement, “It has been a richly rewarding experience to adapt Hugh’s epic novels with our partners at Apple and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this complete story to the screen over the course of four seasons. With the final two chapters of Silo, we can’t wait to give fans of the show an incredibly satisfying conclusion to the many mysteries and unanswered questions contained within the walls of these silos.”
Ferguson also commented, “I’ve loved every minute of bringing Juliette to the screen and I am immensely proud of what we’ve all created with Silo since the first episode. I have always felt passionately about telling the entire story contained within Hugh Howey’s books, so I couldn’t be happier that audiences around the world have enthusiastically embraced the show. Alongside our parters at Apple, Graham, and the entire cast and crew, I cannot wait to dive into these final two thought-provoking seasons that will beautifully conclude this dystopian tale.”
Season 2
Our own Alex Maidy glowed in his review of the second season, “I found the expanded scope of this season to be as entertaining as it is sinisterly thrilling. Thanks to a finite endgame in sight for where this story will lead, fans can enjoy this middle chapter as the saga of Silo builds the tension to a breaking point. I expect that by the time everyone reaches this season’s finale, they will eagerly await what comes next. Packed with great turns from Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Robbins, Common, and the entire cast, this sophomore season of Silo is a solid continuation.”
