Sims: The Movie?

JoBloJoBlo

Looking to get in on some of that BLOODRAYNE money, Fox has acquired the feature rights to the EA computer game THE SIMS. According to the press release, the SIMS game is the best-selling PC game in history (you mean it beat out “Spellicopter”?). Despite the fact that it’s a game about people users can create and control and is pretty much, you know….plotless, doesn’t seem to be slowing down Fox. They see that $1.6 billion that the game has brought in and the tongues they start-a wagging. Kevin Smith pal Brian Lynch will write the script for Fox who is keeping the story under wraps (i.e., they have no idea how the f*ck they’re going to pull this off). Should THE SIMS become a big hit, expect to see a sequel based on “Sim-Coaster” or “Sim City”.
