Destruction Inc. is bringing the Brooklyn-based psychedelic slasher PSYCHOTIC! to VOD on January 26th, and anticipation of this release a trailer has been released online.

Written and directed by Derek Gibbons and Maxwell Frey, PSYCHOTIC! follows

a group of hard-partying Brooklyn hipsters as they're stalked and savagely murdered by a masked maniac known as the Bushwick Party Killer.

It's up to struggling artists Tim and Stuart to figure out who keeps killing the life of the party.  Blood-soaked mayhem ensues as our heroes barely make the rent on time, search for love (in all the wrong places), and try to salvage their friendship – all while trying to unravel the mystery and stay one step ahead of the next massacre.

PSYCHOTIC! has been making the festival rounds, earning accolades for the practical special effects and its giallo style while winning Best Feature awards. There are still some theatrical screenings ahead of PSYCHOTIC!, too. The movie will be showing at a few Brooklyn theatres before the end of the month: the Nitehawk Theater in Williamsburg on the 25th, Film Noir Cinema in Greenpoint on the 26th, and Videology on the 27th.

If you can't make it to those screenings, you'll be able to find PSYCHOTIC! on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Vudu, Sony PSN, and Xbox.

Shot and produced on location in Brooklyn, PSYCHOTIC! stars Kristen Martin, Clint Keepin, Cirocco Dunlap, Maria Wojciechowski, Dani Grace, Adam Maid, Rafael Cruz, Chris Prine, Aldous Davidson, and Rachel Laforest. Keepin also produced the film with Gibbons, Frey, and Elizabeth Koe.

Synth duo Blazing Galaxies provided the score. Brian Stansfield served as cinematographer.
