Slender Man creeps its tall-ass onto Blu-ray this October

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

For all intents and purposes, it seems director Sylvain White's teen horror flick based on the viral legend of SLENDER MAN (pre-order HERE) was a disappointment, both critically and at the box-office. Well, maybe not at the box-office. Let's call it "borderline" and move on. Anyhow, all of that doesn't seem to be stopping the movie from creeping and controversially crawling it's tall-ass onto Blu-ray.

Yes, today we have word via our buddies over at Daily Dead that the movie will be hitting home video just in time for Halloween with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment unleashing the spooky entity on digital October 19 and on Blu-ray and DVD October 30.

The film is directed by Sylvain White from a screenplay written by David Birke based on the character created by Victor Surge. It stars Joey King (WISH UPON, THE CONJURING), Julia Goldani Telles, Jaz Sinclair, Annalise Basso (OUIJA: ORIGIN OF EVIL, OCULUS), Alex Fitzalan, Taylor Richardson, and Javier Botet (IT, INSIDIOUS: THE LAST KEY).

In a small town in Massachusetts, a group of friends, fascinated by the internet lore of the SLENDER MAN, attempt to prove that he doesn't actually exist – until one of them mysteriously goes missing.

It was produced by Bradley J. Fischer, James Vanderbilt, William Sherak, Robyn Meisinger and Sarah Snow; and executive produced by Louis Sallerson, Tracey Nyberg, Adam Kolbrenner, Ryan Cunningham and Glenn S. Gainor. SLENDER MAN is rated PG-13 for disturbing images, sequences of terror, thematic elements and language including some crude sexual references. It hits digital October 19 and on Blu-ray and DVD October 30.
