Will Smith is currently filming the Peter Berg directed comic-based action drama JOHN HANCOCK, a film refusing to do away completely with the male genitalia allusions being formerly titled TONIGHT, HE COMES, and the folks over at “Pop Sugar” managed to snap a few spy shots of Smith running around in what appears to be a surprisingly subdued superhero suit. In it, Smith stars as the titular washed-up superhero who drowns his sorrows in booze and the warm embrace of the wife (Charlize Theron) of the PR consultant (Jason Bateman) attempting to rehabilitate his tarnished image. Tortured superhero drama interjected with occasional moments of levity and abruptly ending action sequences ensue. Click HERE to check out the rest of the pics. HANCOCK opens July 2nd of next year.
