Snake Eyes trailer: Iconic G.I. Joe hero truly begins in first full look

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Just over a month since releasing its first teaser trailer, the G.I. Joe spin-off Snake Eyes has released its first full trailer and the iconic hero gets to shine in this action-packed full look.

Directed by Robert Schwentke, Snake Eyes serves as a reboot of the G.I. Joe film series and an origin story for the title character. In the film, a lone fighter is welcomed into and trained by an ancient Japanese ninja clan called Arashikage, but finds his loyalties being tested when secrets from his past are revealed, as he eventually goes on the path to become the hero known as "Snake Eyes." The film stars Henry Golding, Andrew Koji, Ursula Corbero, Samara Weaving, Haruka Abe, Takehiro Hira, Peter Mensah, and Iko Uwais.

I thought the teaser trailer for this film was pretty decent despite not showing much but this full trailer makes the film look even more promising. The live-action G.I. Joe films have been lacking in the past but it looks like some effort was put into giving fans of the franchise exactly what they wanted and it definitely looks heavy on action.
