Someone bad is coming in teaser for AMC’s new horror series NOS4A2

We've seen very little from AMC's upcoming horror series NOS4A2 so far, and the recently released teaser trailer doesn't exactly change much about that, but here it is anyway. Adapted from Joe Hill's novel of the same name, NOS4A2 features Zachary Quinto as Charlie Manx, a supernatural predator who feeds on the life forces of children in order to remain immortal. In addition to feeding on their life force, Manx deposits what's left of the children in a fantasy world he created known as Christmasland. "In the journey they become these ghoulish creatures, and Charlie Manx is fed with vitality and youth," Quinto has previously said.

Facing off against Charlie Manx will be Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings), a young woman who is about to enter her senior year at a high school in Massachusetts. "She’s a working-class kid who has such a creative mind that it actually gives her a kind of superpower," said  showrunner Jami O’Brien. "Charlie Manx becomes aware of her and realizes that she may be bad news for him, so he has to figure out pretty quickly what to do about her."

The official synopsis for NOS4A2:

NOS4A2, based on Joe Hill’s bestselling novel of the same name, tells the story of Charlie Manx, a seductive immortal who feeds off the souls of children, then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – an icy, twisted Christmas village of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law. Manx finds his whole world threatened when a young woman in New England discovers she has a dangerous gift. Ashleigh Cummings will play Vic McQueen, a young, working-class artist whose creativity awakens a supernatural ability to track Manx (Zachary Quinto). What Vic lacks in social confidence, she makes up for in courage, humor, and tough-as-nails grit. She strives to defeat Manx and rescue his victims without losing her mind or falling victim to him herself.

NOS4A2 will premiere on AMC this summer.
