Spawn: Michael Jai White says he’d be down to cameo in the Blumhouse remake

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

So, last week, Michael Jai White – star of the original 1997 Spawn feature film – had some choice words about his concerns over the Blumhouse reboot, directed by Todd McFarlane and starring Jamie Foxx as the titular Spawn.

However, in a more recent interview with Comicbook.com, White said that he'd be open to making a cameo in the reboot, stating:

Well, yeah…Out of respect for the fans who put me where I am, I would have to say yes. Simply from that.

Obviously, no official plans to bring White into the fold, but I would definitely think that'd be cool as hell, as I still have a nostalgic soft spot for the goofy original film!

Meanwhile, no release date for McFarlane's reboot as of yet, but we'll keep you updated!

So what do you guys think? Fans of the original Spawn film? If so, looking forward to the remake? Either way, sound off below!
