While I’m sure that Spider-Man: No Way Home will still contain a few surprises, I can’t help but wonder how the movie would play if we knew absolutely nothing about it. Unfortunately, that’s not how the game is played and the returning Spider-Man villains have been a big focus of the marketing. A set of three new Spider-Man posters puts the spotlight on three of those villains, including Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Electro (Jamie Foxx), and Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe).

It’s still a little surreal to see that Green Goblin suit make its return after twenty years and I can’t wait to see the character on the big screen once again. I just hope that Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s remaining secrets will be kept under wraps for just a few more weeks. Pre-sales for the film have been through the roof and it seems as though it will have a massive opening weekend as well. It was reported this morning that Spider-Man: No Way Home is expected to earn between $190-250 million domestically in its opening weekend. There have also been reports of scalpers charging ridiculous prices for tickets for early screenings of the film in the realm of $10,000, which is rather crazy. I can only hope that no one is actually shelling out anything more than the regular price.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will find Peter Parker (Tom Holland) turning to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for help when he’s unmasked and is no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a superhero. After some magical meddling, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man. While Tom Holland has teased that this could be his last adventure, producer Amy Pascal has confirmed that they’re working on new Spider-Man movie.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theaters on December 17th.
