While we wait for the next year or so for WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE to hit theaters, we’ll have to rely on commercials and music videos to get our fix of Spike Jonze who has been locked up with WTWTA for years now. Luckily Jonze is reteaming with Weezer, the band who helped propel Jonze into music vid superstardom (and vice versa). Jonze and Weezer will reteam on the upcoming music video for “The Greatest Man That Ever Lived,’ an upcoming track of Weezer’s recent self-titled “Red Album.” The concept is yet to be announced but considering the album’s first two videos (“Pork and Beans” and “Troublemaker”) have been internet sensations, I imagine it’ll be something cool. For now, enjoy the previous collaborations between Jonze and Weezer, “Undone: The Sweater Song,” “Buddy Holly” and “Island in the Sun.”
