Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country took the tension of the Cold War and tried to do what was seemingly impossible: achieve diplomacy between hostile enemies — the Klingon Empire and the Federation. Captain Kirk, in particular, would have to set his pride and his bias aside as he never forgave the Klingons for the death of his son. While Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is often held in the highest regard for the movies with the original Star Trek cast, the final voyage the full roster should not be overlooked, especially in these divided times.
Nicholas Meyer returns to direct the 1991 film that saw Kirk and crew ride off into the sun and Blu-ray.com has reported that Paramount Home Media Distribution will be releasing a new steelbook 4K Blu-ray of the movie to celebrate its 35th anniversary. William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, Nichelle Nichols, George Takei, James Doohan and Walter Koenig all star in the film, with Kim Cattrall, Christopher Plummer and David Warner joining for this entry. The new steelbook is slated to hit retailers on December 1.

The hasn’t been anything as of yet announced for extra material, but the technical specs read,
