After completing work on THE LAUNDROMAT, a drama featuring a star-studded cast, including Meryl Streep, James Cromwell, Antonio Banderas, Gary Oldman, Sharon Stone, David Schwimmer, and Melissa Rauch, Streep and director Steve Soderbergh are re-teaming for LET THEM ALL TALK (working title), a feature that as of today will arrive via HBO Max.

The cable network recently announced that they've landed the rights to the drama, which in addition to starring Streep, also features Gemma Chan (CAPTAIN MARVEL, ETERNALS), Candice Bergen (MURPHY BROWN), Dianne Wiest (THE BIRDCAGE) and Lucas Hedges (MANCHESTER BY THE SEA). The story of LET THEM ALL TALK (working title) tells the tale of a celebrated author (Streep) who takes a journey with some old friends to have some fun and heal old wounds. Her nephew (Hedges) comes along to wrangle the ladies and finds himself involved with a young literary agent (Chan).

Producing Soderbergh's latest feature is Gregory Jacobs, with Ken Meyer and Joseph Malloch executive producing. Filming on the project is already underway in New York, before cameras are moved to the decks of the Queen Mary 2 as well as the UK.

“This is the kind of project where you just say yes please sign me up,” said Sarah Aubrey, head of original content at HBO Max, in a release announcing the deal. “To work with Steven Soderbergh and this all-star cast led by Meryl Streep is thrilling and sets the standard for features at HBO Max.”

In other Soderbergh-related news, the TRAFFIC director is also an executive producer on BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC, the long-awaited threequel to the Bill & Ted trilogy of films. For the upcoming comedy Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter will reprise their roles as Ted 'Theodore' Logan and Bill S. Preston, respectively. When the madcap adventure begins anew, the San Dimas slackers find themselves as middle-aged dad still trying to crank out a hit song to fulfill their destiny as the saviors of humankind. Playing the daughters of both Bill and Ted are Samara Weaving (READY OR NOT) as Thea Preston, while Brigette Lundy-Paine will arrive as Billie Logan. Fans of the franchise will be invited to raise their horns once again, when BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC lands in theaters on August 21, 2020.
