Finally, justice for Barb. Sort of. Shannon Purser made her acting debut in Stranger Things as Barbara Holland, the best friend of Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) who met the wrong end of a Demogorgon. The actress is now set to take the lead in SIERRA BURGESS IS A LOSER, an upcoming Netflix film which finds Sierra mistakenly receiving a text from a hot jock who thinks that she's someone else. In an effort to win him over, Sierra must team up with the most popular girl in school. Ah, the old "I'll help you study if you help me catfish this unsuspecting teenager" routine.
