Finally, justice for Barb. Sort of. Shannon Purser made her acting debut in Stranger Things as Barbara Holland, the best friend of Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) who met the wrong end of a Demogorgon. Despite only appearing in several episodes, Barb became a breakout character and Purser even snagged an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. The actress is now set to take the lead in SIERRA BURGESS IS A LOSER, an upcoming Netflix film which finds Sierra mistakenly receiving a text from a hot jock who thinks that she's someone else.
