Buried at the bottom of an article about Intrepid Picture’s next film (which I’ll be covering soon) is the revelation that THE STRANGERS: PART 2 will be ready to go before cameras in September. No other details are offered; however, we’ve known that music video director Laurent Briet is helming the flick, with a script from Bryan Bertino. Rumor has it that it takes place in a trailer park, but let’s stick with calling that a rumor until some more info comes to light…

Of course, we still don’t know if Liv Tyler will be appearing in this one, or if its a whole new direction for the… franchise? Guess it’s safe to call it that, yeah? Why just stop at two, after all? Word has been that the actors who played “the Strangers” in the first film will be reprising their roles for the sequel – which is absolutely necessary because who else could play those parts as well?

Expect more news soon as we near the flick’s start date.
