Here’s a project that has slipped under our radar somehow but now makes itself known thanks to an article in Variety about newly formed production company Soular Entertainment. Said project is called CROSS, and it boasts an eclectic cast including Danny Trejo, Brian Austin Green, Vinnie Jones, Michael Clarke Duncan, Jake Busey, C. Thomas Howell, Tom Sizemore, Robert Carradine, William Zabka, Rachel Miner and Lori Heuring. (Whew!) Evidently, the film is now in post-production and is on track for a 2011 release.

So what’s the deal with CROSS? The skimpy synopsis reads like this: Given incredible power by an ancient Celtic Cross, Callan continues to fight evil… Now, joined by a team of weapons experts, Callan battles an unstoppable empire in Los Angeles.

Brian Austin Green is the hero of the flick; he’s a hero in my book already for hanging onto Megan Fox despite the odds. (You know, what with his irrelevance and all.) Godspeed, Mr. Green…

You can head on over to the official site to get a peek at a “living poster”, but it’s not much to see, and the site offers nothing else. Guess we’ll just have to wait until more CROSS goods become available. With that cast, this has to be an entertaining time, right?
