I’m not exactly sure what to make of SURROGATES. It’s got an intriguing, high-concept idea with a lot of potential, and yet it seems like it’s not doing a whole lot with it. Why go the standard murder-mystery route when you could do something really subversive and – dare I say it? – intellectual? There are so many possibilities… I guess the action looks sort of compelling, and Bruce Willis is rocking a really funky toupee, so we’ll have to live with that… Check out the trailer below and you’ll see what I mean.
