Suspiria F/Fest art

For those who may have creamed their shorts reading this title post in expectation of seeing artwork for the dubious 2010 remake of Dario Argento’s seminal work, I both apologize and suggest rockin’ a disposable diaper.

However, what we do have is a kickass poster designed by Alan Forbes for the 1977 Argento classic, which went on display at this year’s Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas.

And though the Fest has long since wrapped, the cool cats over at Mondotees.com have a limited 115 copies of the 18”X24”poster available for purchase. With such a finite amount of prints, a price of $30 isn’t that unreasonable. Besides, look at that damn picture!

For those intrigued by the tease offered above, SUSPRIA is still slated to get the once over routine by David Gordon Green (PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, ALL THE REAL GIRLS), and was rumors of Natalie Portman starring have since simmered. The project is still holding to a 2010 release.

Snatch yourself a copy of the poster right HERE, shit, Christmas ain’t that far off!

Until then, express how the hell you feel (if you haven’t already) about the idea of remaking such a revered flick. Does anyone think  SUSPIRIA 2010 is a good idea?
