Double Oscar winner Hillary Swank and her producing partner Molly Smith have acquired the rights to ‘Something Borrowed‘ as a potential starring vehicle for Swank. The book is about a Manhattan attorney who becomes involved with her friend’s fiance following her 30th birthday. The deal also includes the rights to author Emily Griffin’s sequel, ‘Something Blue’.
Sweet, not just one romantic comedy but potentially two. I’m pretty sure when sex was invented it was never intended to involve this much effort or self-sacrifice.
