New York City is a city of cinephiles, with more opportunities to see films of a vast variety than any other city in the nation. On the edge of the cinephile community, however, are the “cinemaniacs” whose love of film is... See more so extreme that they average 2-5 movies a day, often sacrificing true social lives and successful careers just to feed their obsession with the cinema. This documentary follows the lives of five such movie fans, whose obsession varies from the manageable to the borderline, and whose knowledge and love of cinema would could humble most professional film critics.
