Firelight

Beautiful but poor Swiss governess Elisabeth (Sophie Marceau), meets secretly with an English landowner, Charles Godwin (Stephen Dillane), to conceive a child in exchange for money.

Seven years later, the two are drawn together again when Elisabeth joins Charles’ forlorn household as governess to Louisa (Dominique Belcourt). Sworn to secrecy, Elisabeth must now hide her passionate feelings for the man she loves, and the child she brought into the world.
