Synopsis

Based on the true story of the first and only girl quarterback in Pop Warner football history, THE LONGSHOTS is an uplifting family comedy about an Illinois town that comes together behind their team, the “Minden Browns.” With her Uncle Curtis (Ice Cube) – a former high school football star – as her coach, Jasmine Plummer (Keke Palmer from Akeelah & The Bee) leads her team to the Pop Warner Super Bowl and ignites the town of Minden to become the great city it once was.
