Taissa Farmiga to reprise two roles for American Horror Story: Apocalypse

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble. Fillet of a fenny snake, in the caldron boil and bake; a grand return to the AMERICAN HORROR STORY series Taissa Farmiga is set to make.

It's been reported by Entertainment Weekly that THE NUN star Taissa Farmiga will be reprising both her characters from the Murder House and Coven installments of FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY television series when AMERICAN HORROR STORY: APOCALYPSE debuts on September 12th. What manner of magic is this, you ask? Well, seeing as Apocalypse is a Murder House/Coven crossover, it just makes sense that Farmiga would portray both her Murder House character, Violet, as well as Zoe Benson of Coven fame. Joining Farmiga for the new season are Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton, as returning members of the Harmon family.

I've not watched AMERICAN HORROR STORY for many seasons, though I understand that Apocalypse revolves around Michael Langdon (Cody Fern), who was birthed by Vivien (Britton) in the lead up to the finale of the show's Murder House season. Those who know him believe that Langdon is the Antichrist, which lends to the newest season's title, Apocalypse, as the birth of the devil's spawn is traditionally a harbinger for the end of days.

Say your prayers, AHS fans, because shit's about to go down!
