Dreamy kid beefstick Taylor Lautner has cited Matt Damon as an influence and a career he’d like to emulate. This is particularly evident after seeing the trailer for his new (yet familiar) movie, where he plays a guy with an enigmatic history and surprisingly effective asskicking skills, on the run from a shady government operation.

Putting the ab in ABDUCTION, the former Sharkboy discovers he was kidnapped as a baby, and sets out to find his real parents. Along with Lily Collins and her extraordinary eyebrows, and some assistance from Sigourney Weaver, the TWILIGHT lycanthrope dodges various character actors and beats on random henchmen to reveal his past.

MTV has the trailer for the flick, directed by John Singleton (2 FAST 2 FURIOUS, BOYZ N THE HOOD)..
