Teaser for action-comedy Game Over, Man from Workaholics cast released

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

While it was never must-see TV for me, I always enjoyed when I'd sit down and watch an episode of WORKAHOLICS. True, it was never wholly original; however, I think the easy repertoire and chemistry between the three leads – Adam DeVine, Anders Holm and Blake Anderson – more than made up for that. So it's understandable that they'd try to parlay that relationship into feature films.

And that movie is a Netflix-exclusive action/comedy starring the trio (and executive produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg) called GAME OVER, MAN about "three friends are on the verge of getting their video game financed when their benefactor is taken hostage by terrorists". Here's the first teaser trailer:

Looks…fine? It's honestly not much to go on. While the initial joke is predictable (of course in the rule of threes, DeVine's gun would be real), I did appreciate the dark coda at the end. Either way, I'm willing to give it a chance because of WORKAHOLICS alone.

But what about you Schmoes? Any other WORKAHOLICS fans out there? And if so, what do you think of the movie? Sound off below!

Meanwhile, GAME OVER, MAN will be released on Netflix April 20th, 2018 (get it, 4/20? Hehe *fart*).
