So it looks like we just reeled in a press release for a new horror flick called A LIGHT IN THE DARK, which will film in The Arrow’s frigid homeland of The Great White North this August. Care to hear what this sucker is all abooot?!?

Marking the directorial debut of Lee Conrad (who edited DAYBREAK), A LIGHT IN THE DARK, based on a true story, is put in motion:

When a small town makes budgetary cutbacks, it costs the local police force their jobs and, 9 months later, lends itself to a night of terror at the hands of a local mad man. As the night progresses the once sleepy town is turned on its head as the residents are stalked and murdered, one by one; pitting, a handful of them against a psychotic, blood thirsty killer.

Damn, does EVERY cop lose their job? Now that’s a town worth dwelling in, mad man on the loose or no!

Chris Krueger, Bill Roberts, Theresa Thompson, Asiah Holme and Pressly Parrish are all set to star in the picture.

A LIGHT IN THE DARK looks to enjoy a limited North American theatrical run before hitting DVD.

Stay posted for more!

Not sure about DAYBREAK, but I’m all for DAYBREAKERS’ Isabel Lucas!
