The Adventures of Tintin loses its subtitle in first poster

JoBloJoBlo

We’ve seen a few official shots from it, but now Steven Spielberg’s THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN has its very own poster which you can see below.

What’s most notable is that it appears that the movie has lost its subtitle, THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN. Whether this is to save space on the poster, or if it’s a permanent change, I’m not sure, but I think actually it might be better if the film does away with it. Don’t want a unicorn reference to scare away too many young boys I suppose, and I’m not sure what it really adds.

I am very curious to see how this film is going to go, as I loved the books as a child, but have been creeped out by every CGI mo-cap cartoon I’ve seen to date. Has Spielberg figured out a way to make it less unnerving? I’ll have to see video to know for sure.

Check out the poster below, and see it bigger over at the Pimpin’ Poster Palace.
