Talk about a flash forward from the big screen to the small, as just yesterday our man Jake pointed out the brand-new trailer and poster art for John Rebel’s BEAR (check ’em out HERE), which is aiming to hit theaters in the Netherlands June 1st.

Since you’ve had a full day to digest that news, here’s something else to put in your pipe: the DVD cover at for the UK release of BEAR, hitting stores June 28, 2010! Could it be the fastest turn-around time for a film to DVD ever? If it isn’t, it sure as shit is up there!

As you can tell from the new cover, they’re pimping this bear as one badass motorscooter who may (or may not) have had a run-in with Mike Tyson in his ear-biting days. As you can also tell, there’s now two taglines for the DVD, which is funny because this thing doesn’t even have one special feature to its name! Guess they spent it all on Dare to go down to the woods today? and Just Play Dead. Money well spent.

Regardless of its lack of special features, the cover art is pretty damn cool, and what more do you need from a killer bear movie? Not much. BEAR, starring Katie Lowes, Mary Alexandra Stiefvater, Patrick Scott Lewis, Brendan Michael Coughlin, and Bill Rampley, hits DVD stands in the UK June 28, 2010 from Metrodome Distribution.
