The Charlie Sheen paranoia sci-fi, The Arrival, gets a special 30th anniversary 4K Blu-ray

There’s nothing scarier than uncovering something that leads to a possible conspiracy. The 1996 Charlie Sheen paranoia sci-fi, The Arrival, will be getting a brand new crisp 4K Blu-ray physical media release for its 30th anniversary. Blu-ray.com reports that the alien invasion thriller is set to be available on Lionsgate Limited next month on June 16. The film is written and directed by David Twohy and stars Sheen, Teri Polo, Lindsay Crouse, Richard Schiff, Leon Rippy and Ron Silver. You can also check out our WTF video on the film above.

The Arrival details

The description reads,
“In this intense sci-fi thriller now on 4K for the first time, radio astronomer Zane Zaminsky (Charlie Sheen) believes he’s detected cosmic noise that signals extraterrestrial intelligence. But when he presents his discovery, he’s abruptly fired and his girlfriend (Teri Polo) gets transferred — pulling him into a deadly conspiracy. Zane’s desperate search for answers leads him to Mexico and a mysterious power plant. Arrested for the murder of a scientist (Lindsay Crouse) investigating an impending ecological disaster, Zane escapes custody carrying proof that Earth is already under alien invasion.”
