The Batman continues to thrive in its theatrical run and now the film can claim dominance on its streaming arrival as well after some news about its ratings on HBO. The movie hit HBO Max on April 18, 2022, and it became a clear hit on its first day, per Samba TV.

According to data acquired by Samba TV, 720,000 U.S. households watched The Batman on its first day on HBO Max. For comparison’s sake, 389,000 households watched Zack Snyder’s Justice League on its first day streaming on the platform. You can check out Samba TV’s post below!

The Batman is still playing in 1,804 theaters and placed 11th over the weekend with a gross of $1.5 million. The film now brings its domestic total to $367.7 million and a staggering $754.3 million worldwide. The Batman hits Blu-Ray and 4K on May 24, 2022.
