FX orders up an emotional trailer for the fifth and final season of The Bear

The Bear season 5The Bear season 5

Yes, Chef! If your beef wellington tastes a little salty, it’s probably because I’ve seasoned it with my tears after watching the trailer for the fifth and final season of FX‘s The Bear. If I didn’t know better, I’d say someone summoned a plague on Carmy and the crew, as today’s new trailer shows their restaurant underwater and in desperate need of repairs. Their situation borders on apocalyptic, and with outside forces closing in, it’ll be a miracle if anyone eats at The Bear again.

What’s the final season of The Bear about?

The fifth and final season of FX‘s The Bear picks up the morning after Sydney, Richie, and Sugar discover that Carmy has quit the food industry, leaving the restaurant to them. With no money, the threat of a sale, and a storm in their way, the team must band together to achieve one last service. Ultimately, they learn that what makes a restaurant “perfect” might not be the food, but the people.

Set to The Who’s “Love Reign O’er Me,” the new trailer for The Bear Season 5 stars Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, Matty Matheson, and Edwin Lee Gibson.

What happens in the new trailer?

In the new trailer for The Bear Season 5, Carmy returns to the restaurant as it’s about to be washed away by a biblical-level flood. With Sydney trying to keep the crew together, Richie becoming more mature than ever, and the dream of operating a high-profile restaurant hanging in the balance, the staff at The Bear face their biggest challenge yet!

So long to The Bear

It’s hard to believe that The Bear is coming to an end. It feels like only yesterday when everyone on my social media wouldn’t shut up about the show’s premiere episode. The Bear quickly gained popularity after its debut, rising to the top of people’s must-watch lists, as they delighted in the show’s comedic drama and Uncut Gems-like emotional intensity. In addition to being a hit with fans, The Bear is also an awards show darling, with top prizes awarded at events like the Primetime Emmy Awards, the Golden Globes, the Actor Awards, People’s Choice, the Peabody Awards, the AFI Awards, and more.
