Jeremy Allen White is not exactly a newcomer to the TV scene. However, the actor certainly broke through to mass recognition with his acclaimed performance in the FX show that has gained accolades, the restaurant-themed drama The Bear. White is now parlaying his television network success with an upcoming film that is also collecting a lot of interest with the wrestling biopic, The Iron Claw, about the Von Erich family, also starring Zac Efron. Equally, The Bear creator Christopher Storer is now currently developing a new series at FX, thanks to the success of his intense drama.

Prepare to jump out of the frying pan and back into the fire as FX has renewed The Bear for season 3, according to The Hollywood Reporter. FX entertainment president, Nick Grad, has announced, The Bear, which wowed audiences in its first season only to achieve even greater heights in season two, has become a cultural phenomenon. We’re so proud to partner with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, and the rest of the creative team, as well as the brilliant cast led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. What they and the crew have done is truly remarkable, and we and our partners at Hulu join fans in looking forward to the next chapter in the story of The Bear.”

Season 2 of the series saw the crew of The Original Beef gut the restaurant to make way for an upgraded space. Transitions unfold as they sift through the debris, bringing old memories and aspirations to the surface. Some crew members have big dreams and wonder if Carmy’s new restaurant is where their innermost desires can come true. Despite coming into a significant amount of money, the future is still uncertain, and they’ll need to rely on each other to sort through the rubble and forge a new path.

The first season of The Bear earned a whopping thirteen Emmy nominations, which include awards for Best Comedy Series as well as for stars Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri and Jon Bernthal. The series has also been recognized as AFI TV Program of the Year, plus a WGA Award, PGA Award, Film Independent Spirit Award, American Cinema Editors Award and ACE Eddie Award.
