The Beast needs to work on his smile in latest Beauty and the Beast clip

The debut of Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is nearly upon us and all signs are pointing to the film being yet another big success for the studio. Following in the footsteps of the 1991 animated classic is no easy feat, but director Bill Condon has certainly pulled out all the stops in his efforts to bring the classic Disney tale into the live-action realm. We've been seeing more and more clips from the film on the road to its premiere, and today's clip finds the Beast (Dan Stevens) extending a dinner invitation to Belle (Emma Watson) while flashing his most awkward smile. Go get 'em tiger.

The official synopsis for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST:

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action adaptation of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is set for a March 17, 2017 release.
