The Blackout trailer

Damn I love Christmas time horror, especially among a grip of strangers stranded in a darkened building. Hell, I even liked P2, but that’s different matter altogether. Anyway, a new trailer has hit for a flick called THE BLACKOUT, a first feature for both writer Jim Beck and director Robert David Sanders.

Technically codified as a horror/Sci-Fi outing, THE BLACKOUT happens:

When an apartment building’s lights go out mysteriously on Christmas Eve, and all of the tenants put aside their problems and band together to get to the bottom of the city-wide blackout. Deep in the basement of the high-rise, a hideous breed of monster hatches and begins to wreak havoc. Everyone must find a way to kill the blood-thirsty creatures and survive the darkness before it destroys the world.

A hideous breed of monster? Not a nagging mother-in-law by chance? After all, it is the holidays.

All jokes (as bad as they are) aside, we also know that Barbra Streifel Sanders, Joseph Dunn, Ian Malcolm, Michael Caruso, Caroline Rich, Anthony Tedesco, Jaimie Martinez, John Gorman, Alexis Zibolis, Horace Martin, Larry Omaha, Ashby Plain, Abigail Droeger, and Tyler Armstrong comprise the cast.

Release dates for THE BLACKOUT are still, forgive me, in the dark – but feel free to gaze at the trailer below!
