The good news is, Chuck Russell’s THE BLOB is finally getting its long-awaited Blu-ray release this October! The bad news is, as this is a limited edition from Twilight Time, the number of available copies is small: 5,000. Not bad considering their output is usually 3,000, but still tightens your chances of scoring one.
The blu-ray’s release date is October 14th; you’ll be able to pre-order it exclusively through Twilight Time’s distributors Screen Archives 25 days in advance. Special features have not been announced yet.
Incidentally, Twilight Time will also be releasing AUDREY ROSE, THE BELIEVERS and THE VANISHING (’93) on the same date. Those will be limited to 3,000 copies each.
