The day that many of us have waited for has finally arrived! John Carpenter’s THEY LIVE is coming to Blu-ray with an all new poster that kicks all forms of ass!

THEY LIVE is so much fun. Everything from Rowdy Roddy Piper and Keith David’s brutal street fight, the musical score, and the make-up effects make this movie a classic. Any time someone asks me for a movie recommendation, I always throw in THEY LIVE as a fun action/sci-fi option.

The folks over at ShoutFactory have put together quite the package for fans of the movie. Check out this official release from their site.

They influence our decisions without us knowing it. They numb our senses without us feeling it. They control our lives without us realizing it. They Live.

Horror master John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing) directs this heart-pounding thriller in which aliens are systematically gaining control of the Earth by masquerading as humans and lulling the public into submission. Humanity’s last chance lies with a lone drifter who stumbles upon a harrowing discovery — a unique pair of sunglasses that reveals the terrifying and deadly truth.

Production now underway for extensive and insightful bonus features that include all-new interviews, an audio commentary and archival material. We will announce in-depth bonus features and additional news in the next couple months.

ShoutFactory only has printed a run of 500 of the posters which you can only get by ordering the Blu-ray or DVD directly from their site. I know where my money is going!

THEY LIVE will hit Blu-ray/DVD on November 16, 2012.
