After sharing the photo of Crimson Countess on Twitter, Laurie Holden wrote, “Time for some Payback! I can’t wait for the world to see Crimson Countess in action.” In addition to Holden as Crimson Countess, the upcoming season of The Boys will also see Nick Wechsler (Revenge) as Blue Hawk, Miles Gaston Villanueva (Law & Order – True Crime: The Menendez Murders) as Supersonic, and Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints) as Gunpowder, as well as Kristen Booth (Orphan Black) and Jack Doolan (Marcella) as super-powered siblings Tessa and Tommy, the TNT Twins. We’ll also see Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) as Soldier Boy, the world’s first superhero.

Antony Starr, who plays Homelander on The Boys, has previously teased that the new season will be a big one for fans. “Season 3 is my favorite season for many reasons that I can’t tell you about,” Starr said. “I’m always curious to see what the writers, what these crazy people, are going to cook up, and it’s a pretty great feeling in Season 3 to still be surprised and excited every time you turn a page in the material. All I can say is I truly believe the fans are going to freak out at Season 3… It’s going to be worth it, I promise. You guys are going to gorge feed on this sucker, and the payoff is going to be worth the wait!” I’ve got my fingers crossed!
