Amazon Prime has just released its new trailer for the dark comedy entitled, The Consultant, which stars Christoph Waltz. Based on the 2015 book by author Bentley Little, also titled The Consultant, the characters and story in this darkly funny and thrilling new series unfold in new and unexpected ways that is sure to captivate viewers. The new Amazon Prime show is a twisted, comedic-thriller series that explores the sinister relationship between boss and employee.

The official synopsis reads, The Consultant is a twisted, comedic-thriller series that explores the sinister relationship between boss and employee. When a new consultant, Regus Patoff (Christoph Waltz), is hired to improve the business at the App-based gaming company CompWare, employees experience new demands and challenges that put everything into question… including their lives.

The series stars Christoph Waltz, Nat Wolff, Brittany O’Grady, and Aimee Carrero. Directors of the episodes include Matt Shakman, Dan Attias, Alexis Ostrander, Charlotte Brändström, and Karyn Kusama. The show is produced by Amazon Studios and MGM Television. Creator, showrunner, and executive producer Tony Basgallop, is joined by executive producer and pilot director Matt Shakman, and executive producers Christoph Waltz, Steve Stark, and Andrew Mittman, alongside producer Kai Dolbashian.

Prime Video has announced that The Consultant will premiere all eight episodes exclusively on February 24 in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
