Last year marked the 15th anniversary of LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING, and if that’s not enough to make you feel like an old geezer then certainly a picture of some members of the Fellowship reenacting a scene only days ago certainly will. Well, Elijah Wood, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, Orlando Bloom and Viggo Mortensen did just that in some photos posted by Monaghan, and I just want to say I would still watch these guys at any age take a year-long hike any day of the week.

Oh my god, it’s like someone is poking my childhood memories with Sting itself! The photo when the gang was together in a restaurant, and not too long ago all nine members of the Fellowship interviewed each other as part of a feature for Empire (hence his hashtag).
These movies were seminal to my childhood, so seeing these is like believing in Santa again. Seeing them, and even reading the caption, “My captain. My king,” is giving me all the feels. Look at my hands, they’re shaking. Trust me, it’s been very hard to type all this out.
