Things might have been a little quiet over the past couple of weeks with David Fincher’s THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO but not so today. IMP has brought to light a brand new piece of artwork that has been seen floating around some theaters. Hopefully a full version gets unleashed online, but you can take a gander of what was spotted below.
So far I’d say that the marketing behind this film has been brilliant, from the amazing artwork to the mysterious stills and viral blog, they have been giving us items without really spoiling anything, it is genius. They have really gotten me pumped, which reminds me I should tap the book and original film before December!
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is the first film in Columbia Pictures’ three-picture adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s literary blockbuster The Millennium Trilogy. Directed by David Fincher and starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, the film is based on the first novel in the trilogy, which altogether have sold 50 million copies in 46 countries and become a worldwide phenomenon. The screenplay is by Steven Zaillian.
The film will hit December 21, it stars Rooney Mara (above and below), Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarsgård, Christopher Plummer, Robin Wright, Embeth Davidtz, Joely Richardson and Steven Berkof.
